Discovered this little gem today close to the ruins of the original Château de Budos. It was built in the 17th Century as an Ice Store for the Château and is known as ‘La Chinoise’ (Don’t know why!) – Later used as a shelter and store for the workers in the vineyards.

Splash of Colour

antiques, art, colour, digital art, folly, FRANCE, painting, photography, redstuffdan

I always look forward to monochrome monday as it constantly surprises me how very different the pictures look once the colour is removed – sometimes better, sometimes not and occasionally ‘gobsmacking’. There is also an app on the Phone called ‘iSplash’ which l have used in the past for a bit of fun – it can be quite effective as this picture demonstates. In fact I love this treatment so much l am getting this lovely photograph enlarged and framed to join the specially chosen one’s  that adorn the walls of our home.
